In-situ hybridisation for miRNAs let-7b (cluster 1), miR-205 (cluster 3), and miR-206 (cluster 6) shows higher expression in the epithelial compared to the stromal cell compartment. let-7b and miR-205 show specificity for the luminal and basal epithelial cell layers, respectively.
