  1. Column 1 represents the number of gene probes included within the landscape feature indicated in Figure 2, and this is also used to denote the identity. Column 2 indicates how many of these were BLAST identified as indicated in column 3. The number of the best-represented identified gene in a mountain must be >2, and its percentage of clones in mountain must be over 20%. P represents the significance (Fishers Exact test) of the gene being over-represented in the mountain comparing to the whole clone set included within carpBASE 2.1.
