Heat map of relative position-specific amino acid propensities (P _x ). P_x values were computed for P₁₀P₁₀^’ dataset. P_x values were computed as the ratio of the frequency of occurrence of the amino acid in the cleavage sites pool over the frequency of occurrence of the same amino acid in the non-cleavage sites pool at a specific position. Increasing color intensities (white to blue) indicate proportionately greater enrichment of the amino acid in the cleavage sites over non-cleavage sites, and vice versa for decreasing color intensities.
