(C) Distribution of intergenic reads in relation to distance from the 5’ end (transcription start site; TSS) or 3’ end (transcription termination site; TTS) of predicted gene models. The average number of reads per 10 million mapped reads per sample was summed in 1 kb segments from the boundaries of annotated genes. (D) Percent of intergenic reads that map in proximity to predicted genes.
