Left and right pictures illustrate the vector of the reference structure and the transition which corresponds to the third term on right side of equation (21) respectively. g₆(i, j, k) returns the Hamming distance between green and blue regions. Gray regions have been already considered in $Z_{i+1,k-1}^m$ and $Z_{k,j-1}^{m1}.$
