  3. For three of the strains the plasmid insert positions were established by mapping to the plasmid and subsequent mapping of mate reads to the reference genome. Whereas for DAF139 de novo assembly was necessary to identify the sequence at the 5′ end of the insertion due to an incomplete reference sequence in this part of the F. graminearum genome. The 5′-flanking insertion sequence was not identified for DAF141 using either approach.
