L: lag, EE: early exponential, LE: late exponential, S: stationary. Red or blue color indicates that the metabolite content is decreased or increased, respectively. Metabolites were grouped according to the KEGG database. Abbreviations: TCA: Tricarboxylic acid cycle, DHAP: dihydroxyacetone phosphate, PEP: phosphoenolpyruvate.
