The red portion of the bar indicates the number of genes in each CAZyme family that are induced when strain Z5 is incubated with the polysaccharides xylan, cellulose or rice straw as the sole carbon source, the green bars are down-regulated gene numbers in three polysaccharides when compared to sucrose control, the grey bars are no response genes and the dark blue bars represent the genes which showed the opposite expression trends in three polysaccharides when compared to sucrose control.
