Real-time qPCR of HIV gp120 modulated miRs. Cells were treated with gp120 for 6–18 h or left untreated in the presence or in the absence of Stattic (10 μM, 1 h of pretreatment) and total RNA was extracted, reverse transcribed and subjected to Real-time qPCR. Relative fold of change of expression of miR-21 a-c, miR-181b (B-D), in gp120 stimulated MDDCs against untreated controls were calculated using the comparative Ct (2-ΔΔCt) method. PCR were run in triplicate and the mean of 12 (A-B) or 5 c-d independent experiments ± SE is shown. p values were calculated by ANOVA and statistical significance is indicated vs untreated control
