Validation of selected StTPS genes during exogenous stimuli. Abiotic stress conditions (24-h treatment of in vitro grown whole plants) consisted of heat (35°C), salt (150 mM NaCl) treatment. Control plants were grown in parallel with each stress treatment. The biotic stress condition (24 hr) was induced with acibenzolar-S-methyl (BTH, 100 mg/ml). Wounded leaves were included to mimic herbivory. Mock inoculations were performed with sterile water. The red line indicates the gene was upregulated, ca. two-fold greater than control.
