The members of the Ingenuity Pathway Analysis “Granulocyte Activation and Diapedesis” pathway are shaded according to the differential fold change in transcript level after 6 h of transcervical infection with 107 gonococci during diestrus versus estrus phase over phase specific controls (signed ratio of infection-induced fold change in diestrus phase to that in estrus phase). Colors are scaled so that red and blue indicate differential fold changes of ≥2.5 or ≤ − 2.71, respectively, and white indicates a differential fold change of 0 (no difference in fold change between phases). N = 4 for all conditions except PBS estrus N = 3
