Metabolites and genes involved in the biosynthesis of anthocyanin in A. comosus var. bracteatus. Anthocyanins were synthesized through three pathways: phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, flavonoid biosynthesis and anthocyanin biosynthesis. The color scale of metabolites indicates the log2FC between the two types of samples. The color scale of genes indicates the log2 transformation value of FPKM. The percentage represents the ratio of anthocyanins among all detected anthocyanins in GR and RE. The gray circles and hexagons indicate undetectable metabolites and genes, respectively
