Sub-cellular localization of core proteome for prioritization of vaccine candidates. Core proteins (2445) were analyzed for their sub-cellular localization by using PsortB. A large number (53 %) of proteins were found to be cytoplasmic, followed by 22 % in the cytoplasmic membrane. Proteins situated in outer membrane (3 %), extracellular (1 %) and in periplasmic space (2 %) were preferred to be considered for putative vaccine candidates, as these can be readily recognized by MHC molecules and generate strong immunogenic response
