From: Transcriptomic profiling implicates PAF1 in both active and repressive immune regulatory networks

Fig. 5

Promoters of conserved PAF1-dependent genes are associated with immune-related transcription factors. A Venn diagrams show overlapping DEGs (p.adj < 0.05) from comparison of PAF1 KO versus ncgRNA for each stimulus. The diagram on the left shows downregulated genes and the one to the right shows upregulated genes. Overlaps having greater than 10 genes were labeled. B, C Core genes (marked at the center of Venn diagrams) were subjected to TFBS enrichment analysis with DAVID. The fold enrichment (FE) of the top 15 associated TFBS for downregulated (B) and upregulated (C) genes are shown. Emphasis (larger size and labeling) was given to those with greater than 0.5 difference in FE compared to the opposing gene list (downregulated versus upregulated (B), and vice versa (C)). Statistical significance for enrichment was calculated with the Bonferroni method and is shown by shape (circle: p.adj < 0.05, triangle: p.adj > 0.05). TFBS associated with the immune response and significantly enriched have bolded and colored labels
